CALMR at Manchester Fashion Week x Innovate UK Business Growth

We were proud to be invited by Innovate UK Business Growth to take part in Manchester Fashion Week — an incredible event returning to the city after a 10-year break.

The atmosphere was electric. To be alongside such talented designers and innovators at the cutting edge of fashion was inspiring in itself, but what made the day truly special was the chance to demonstrate the power of touch.

At CALMR, we believe that clothing can do more than just look good. Through our Hug, we showed visitors how deep pressure touch can help regulate the nervous system, offering calm, focus, and a sense of emotional grounding. Watching people experience that “ahh” moment firsthand was unforgettable.

Meeting amazing people, forging exciting new connections, and coming away with a real sense that this is just the beginning. Manchester Fashion Week made a huge splash in its return, and I look forward to continuing the conversation with the fashion and wellness communities in the North who see the potential in what we are building.
